NVH 5th Annual Pig Roast

A relaxed, community crowd gathered for a pig roast, with music and games running alongside the food. A dessert auction is part of the lineup, and the bids are the group's main way of raising money for its project. The club's new banquet hall is a clean, modern room built to seat up to 300 people.

The money goes to a concrete project: sixteen 120-square-foot tiny homes and a community center for veterans without housing. The homestead hopes to be the first veteran-specific homeless program in northern Wisconsin, and it currently relies on donations and fundraisers to move ahead. A night of food and music here is a direct way to help that build along.
