Nibbles n' Knowledge: Hidden Moose of Wisconsin: Uncovering Wisconsin's Resident Moose

For more than a decade, Amanda Griggs has documented hundreds of moose observations across northern Wisconsin, revealing a story that challenges long-held assumptions about the species. Through photographs, trail camera images, field research, and individual stories like the well-known bull "Pancho," participants will explore the evidence supporting Wisconsin's resident moose population and learn how citizen science has contributed to a greater understanding of these elusive animals. The presentation also highlights ongoing conservation efforts and how the public can become involved in monitoring and protecting Wisconsin's moose. We will serve light appetizers and have a cash bar from 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM, presentation will run from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM. Registration required by 11/10/26.
