About this event
Lit Lovers is the monthly book club at Minocqua Public Library, where members talk through a book they have read together. Meetings happen in person in a small library room or online by video, so either way works. It is a low-key way to meet other readers in town and to finish a book you might not have picked up on your own.
What to expect
Each month the group discusses one book chosen ahead of time, and the library posts the pick with discussion questions. Picks have ranged from novels to nonfiction, including a book on Wisconsin history. Members join from the library's History Room or from home over Zoom, and the talk stays conversational.
Why go
The club is run by the library's adult services staff, so it is a steady part of the library's programming rather than a one-time event. Meeting inside the library gives the group a quiet, bookish feel. New members are always welcome, which makes it an easy first gathering for someone new to the area.
