Food Share, Employment, & Training Drop-In
Wednesday, November 11 at Minocqua Public Library, Minocqua
About this event
FoodShare Employment and Training is at the library Wednesdays from 9:00am – 4:00pm. The FSET program is a no-cost program that helps FoodShare members build their job skills and find jobs. Call the library for more information.
What to expect
The session is a drop-in at the library, aimed at FoodShare members who want to build job skills or start looking for work. It repeats every week, so it can fit into an ongoing job search. The Minocqua Center also houses the town offices and a county planning office, so you will share the building with local government.
Why go
The focus is plain: job skills first, then finding work. For a FoodShare member in Minocqua, that makes it a practical reason to come downtown. The library is already a community hub, and this session puts that role to direct use.
