FoodShare Employment and Training is at the library Wednesdays from 9:00am – 4:00pm. The FSET program is a no-cost program that helps FoodShare members build their job skills and find jobs. Call the library for more information.
What to expect
This is a drop-in, so members come by during the session rather than booking a set appointment. The program is aimed at FoodShare members working on job skills and job searches. The library's first floor is a quiet, practical room, with the library's staff on hand to point people toward the help they need.
Why go
The session is a practical option for FoodShare members in the Minocqua area who want help with work goals. It takes place in the Minocqua Center at 415 Menominee Street, a brick building that dates to 1907 as a school. The library has been based there since the building reopened in 1983 after a fire.
