Food Share, Employment, & Training Drop-In
Wednesday, November 18 at Minocqua Public Library, Minocqua
About this event
FoodShare Employment and Training is at the library Wednesdays from 9:00am – 4:00pm. The FSET program is a no-cost program that helps FoodShare members build their job skills and find jobs. Call the library for more information.
What to expect
This is a drop-in session, so members come by as they need help rather than joining a set class. The program is built around two goals: building job skills and finding jobs. Sessions take place in the library's own space on the building's ground floor.
Why go
For a FoodShare member in the area, employment help sits inside a public building most locals already know. The Minocqua Center began as Minocqua High School in 1907, was rebuilt after a fire in 1982, and was expanded in 2011. Its downtown location makes it easy to reach on foot or by car.
