Who's playing
The Clauson Family Music Show was founded in 1999 and moved into the Coloma barn in 2003. Brittney Clauson-Semrow, whose father started the show, runs it alongside her brother Cody. The trip itself is made possible by Generations Senior Center, with Incredible Bank as a sponsor.
What to expect
The day starts with lunch, a browse through the gift shoppes and a treat from the Coffee Shoppe before the show. The meal is buffet-style and cooked in the barn's own kitchen. The show is a Christmas program of music from past and present, performed by a high-energy family cast on a circular stage.
Why go
The barn is the real draw. Its rustic wood interior has been kept as it was when it was built, and the restored space puts every seat close to the stage. For a group that wants a holiday outing with the driving taken care of, the Coloma trip is an easy one.
