School Walking Hours at NPHS

Walkers use the indoor track inside the high school, which is built for steady laps rather than anything fancy. An outdoor track sits behind the building for the warmer months. The track is open to community members, so you come in, pick your pace and walk on your own terms.

A school track open this regularly is a good anchor for a walking routine. The early and after-school windows fit around work and family, and the weekend morning gives a longer stretch to settle in. Through the long Northwoods winter, having a warm indoor loop nearby makes it much easier to keep moving.
