School Walking Hours at NPHS

Walkers use the track inside the school's fieldhouse, with a second track behind the building for outdoor walking. The school opens both tracks to community members, so this is a plain, working gym setting rather than a fitness club. People walk at their own pace, and the room is more about the track than anything else.

An indoor track on a regular schedule is useful in a northern Wisconsin winter, when outdoor walking can be hard to keep up. The program is listed for every season, so a walking routine can carry through the year. It is a low-key way to get steps in with no equipment needed.
