Holiday Cards hosted by the Boulder Junction Lions Club at Boulder Jct. Brewing Co.

Holiday cards, envelopes and stickers are provided, so there is nothing to bring but a message. Cookies and hot cocoa are served while people write. The setting is the brewery's taproom on Main Street, a relaxed room where families and neighbors can sit down together and work through a stack of cards.

The Lions Club's goal is simple: thank a veteran for their service and bring some holiday cheer to someone who may be spending the season in a hospital or clinic. Cards like these give a veteran a personal note at a time when many are far from home. The taproom is run by owners Ian Brown and Tracy Converse, who brew their beers on a five-barrel system right beside the room.
