Holiday Cards for Military Veterans

Cards, envelopes and stickers are supplied, so there is nothing to bring but a wish to thank someone. Cookies and hot cocoa are served while people write. Children and adults sit down together, and the mood is friendly and unhurried. The brewery is owned by Ian Brown and Tracy Converse, and its new taproom is built on the lines of the old Main Street building.

Veterans who are spending the holidays in medical care often hear little from outside their families. A few honest lines from a neighbor can mean a lot to them. The session is also a good first look at a downtown taproom that opened after two years of preparation.
