Hatha Yoga Monday Nights at The Warehouse Community Art Center
Monday, November 9 at The Warehouse Art Center, Minocqua
About this event
Hatha Yoga with Cindi Schickert The class will be Hatha based where postures are held for a few breaths with some slow flow added in during this restorative session. Yoga mats available $15 drop-in or bundle month
What to expect
Each session is Hatha based, so poses are held for a few breaths rather than moved through quickly. Slow flow is woven in between holds, and the class is billed as restorative, meant to unwind more than push. The Warehouse sits in a downtown Eagle River building on Railroad Street, a space that also hosts performances and workshops.
Why go
Cindi Schickert started yoga in 2003 hoping to ease back and neck pain, and she says she stayed for the community it brought her. Beginner classes are her favorite to teach. The Warehouse runs ceramics, painting and other classes through the year, so a yoga session fits easily into a Northwoods day out.
