About this event
The Eagle River Genealogical Society holds its monthly meeting on the first Monday of every month. Our purpose as a society is “Providing you with to tools to discover your Roots and link you to your Family Tree”, a place for you to meet other genealogist and attend programs and workshops of genealogical interest; to provide instruction in genealogical procedures; and to collect, preserve, and disseminate genealogical data relative to the people of this area. What to expect
Members meet other genealogists, attend programs and workshops on family history, and get instruction in genealogical procedures. The society's purpose is also to collect, preserve and share genealogical data for people in this area. The meetings are a working group setting, with the library's genealogy resources close at hand.

The society focuses on the Eagle River area and the wider Vilas County region, so its meetings are a good place to learn local family history as well as your own.
