Wine Bottle Lantern Class B
Thursday, November 12 at Rhinelander District Library Meeting Room, Minocqua
About this event
Come transform an empty wine bottle into a beautiful rustic lantern in one of two classes in the library meeting room. Using burlap, ribbons, artificial greens, pinecones, berries, small bulbs, and fair lights, every participant will leave with their own version of this lantern. Please note each class is making a different version, so please sign up for which class you prefer. Registration opens on October 29th with 10 spaces per class. For ages 18+.
What to expect
Everyone works on their own bottle and leaves with their own finished lantern. The materials are the set listed for the class: burlap, ribbons, greens, pinecones, berries, small bulbs and fairy lights. The class meets in the library's meeting room, a plain room built for programs and group meetings, so the focus stays on the bench and the bottle.
Why go
Because each class makes a different version, Class B gives a different lantern than the other session. The class is a low-key way to try a rustic craft with a small group of people. It is also a good reason to visit the Rhinelander District Library, which sits downtown and hosts community programs throughout the year.
