Who's playing
Six Appeal is a vocal ensemble of six singers. The members are formally trained in singing, music education and composition, and they bring the energy of a rock band to their harmonies. Their comic timing is part of the act, not just a break between numbers.
What to expect
The program moves through a string of hits from several decades, with Michael Jackson, Earth, Wind & Fire, Elton John and Prince among the names on the set list. Every arrangement is sung without instruments, so the blend of six voices carries the rhythm and the harmony. A high school theater stage gives the group a simple, focused space to work in.
Why go
The theme gives the evening a clear thread, moving from one era to the next. Hearing familiar songs rebuilt with six voices and nothing else is the main draw. It suits anyone who likes a live show with more harmony than spectacle.
