Born in Beaver Dam in 1969, Wayne started playing guitar at 11, and steel guitar at age 12. From 1999-2006, he toured with the Nashville Recording artists Harbor Lighthouse, and has won national awards as a steel guitarist. He has been the producer of Clear Blue Studios and Clear Blue Entertainment since 1996. Soloist entertainer Mark Wayne performs the music that people love and brings a great ’vibe’… from Sinatra to Merle Haggard to Dire Straits!

He has also produced at Clear Blue Studios and Clear Blue Entertainment since 1996.
What to expect
This is a one-man show, with Wayne singing live over his own steel guitar. His booking materials describe a set of familiar favorites, from Johnny Cash and Jimmy Buffett to Elvis and Alan Jackson, and call his style non-intrusive. The room is the distillery's tasting room, with social tables and a crowd of locals and visitors.
Why go
A live steel guitar is less common on Minocqua stages than a full band, and hearing one played up close in a small room is the main draw. The song list is wide enough that mixed groups tend to find something they know. The distillery's cocktails, built on the Wisconsin supper club tradition, make a natural pairing.
