Veteran's Day Dinner

The program is short, so most of the evening goes to the meal and the veterans gathered for it. The Guild Hall is the parish's gathering room rather than the sanctuary, which keeps things relaxed. Expect a church-hall dinner rather than a formal banquet.

Community dinners like this one are how a parish stays in touch with its town. St. Augustine's has run a community meal program for decades, so the church knows how to host a crowd. For veterans and the people who want to thank them, it is a low-key way to spend an evening in Rhinelander.
