Calling all rolling, crawling, and walking little ones and those who care for them come to the library for active free-play in the community room when it’s too cold to “move it” outside
What to expect
Little ones who are rolling, crawling or walking get open play time in the community room, with a caregiver nearby for every child. The format is free play rather than a set lesson, so kids move at their own pace. The room is the same one the library uses for its board meetings and its after-school enrichment program for grades K through 8.
Why go
When the weather keeps toddlers indoors, this gives them a warm, roomy place to move with other families. It is a steady weekly routine that fits easily into a morning. The library's Library Time program, a play-based morning for little ones and caregivers, is a related option for the same families.
