About this event
Our community dinners are Free to anyone and a way to connect folks in the community. We encourage every economic status to come! If you have money to share there is a free will offering can to donate. This is a great place to enjoy an evening together with our neighbors! 4:30 appetizers 5:30 dinner We celebrate birthdays the beginning of every month with special birthday gift bags and an opportunity to sing to our guests!
What to expect
Appetizers come first, then dinner, and the evening is built around eating together rather than a program. At the start of each month, birthdays are marked with gift bags and a song from the room. Each dinner is backed by a different church, club or business, so the group behind the meal changes from month to month.
Why go
The Rock Mission Center sits in the St. Mary of the Snows Anglican Church building on East Wall Street, with a large kitchen, seating for about 170 and a game room. Northwoods Share has served these dinners there since the center's early years, and it also runs a pantry behind the building for local families. Going is a simple way to share a meal with people from around the Northwoods.
