Lego Saturday for Kids

Lego is the thread through the afternoon, with crafts and activities built around it and treats for the families who come. The library's kids' programs usually take place in its children's department or meeting room. Expect a relaxed room where parents and younger kids work through the activities together.

It is a good first look at what the library offers children. The same Lego theme shows up in its Builder's Club sessions, where school-aged kids can free-build with Legos and Magna Tiles. The Legovember kickoff is a natural start for families who want to keep building through the month.
