Let’s Make salt dough! Make it squishy, make it scented, make it colorful! It’s up to you! Stop into the library program room Thursday November 12 anytime between 4-6pm to make dough, you get to bring home what you make!
What to expect
The activity is salt dough, and the choices are yours: how squishy it gets, what scent goes in, and which colors to mix. Kids make their own pieces and carry them home when they are done. The format is loose and drop-in, so a child can stay for a while and make something without any sign-up or set project.
Why go
Salt dough is a classic kids' craft, and this session lets each child shape the result. Bringing something home gives the visit a finished piece to show for it. The library runs a series of these hands-on craft nights in its program room, so it is an easy one to pair with other kids' programs in Minocqua.
