What to expect
Students choose the medium and creative direction that interests them. The class is taught by studio artist Peggy Grinvalsky, who is known for a relaxed teaching style. Her approach focuses on drawing what you see and building a lively sense of color, with room to experiment.
Why go
Peggy is a studio artist, muralist and book illustrator, so the instruction comes from someone who makes work for a living. Eight weeks is long enough to build a habit and finish a few pieces. The class suits someone who has never held a brush as well as someone looking to push a practice further.
