About this event
Baby Storytime is a weekly session for babies 6 to 24 months at the Rhinelander District Library in Rhinelander, a short drive from Minocqua. Simple stories and songs come first, and a playtime follows. The library's meeting room keeps the whole thing low-key and close.
What to expect
Stories and songs open the session, with a lap-sit format that keeps babies close to a grown-up. Playtime follows, giving little ones room to explore once the songs wrap up. The stated emphasis is on fun rather than structure.
Why go
It is a relaxed way for caregivers of babies under two to get out of the house. Parents get to connect with each other while their little ones play and learn. The Rhinelander District Library is a familiar stop for local families, and this program is one of its ongoing offerings for the youngest patrons.
