Teen Book Tasting: As Seen on TV
Monday, November 23 at Pine & Pour Coffee Co., Minocqua
About this event
Join us at Pine & Pour Coffee Co., sample books that made it to the screen, taste the specialty drinks associated with each, and do some crafts! Any person needing an accommodation for a disability in order to access Library activities and/or service should contact the Library in person, by phone at 715-479-8070, or by email at director@olsonlibrary.org.
What to expect
The theme is adaptation: books that reached the screen, each paired with the drink the shop makes for it. The tasting moves from one title to the next, so the session has a steady rhythm. Crafts are part of the plan, so expect some hands-on time alongside the sipping.
Why go
Pine & Pour is a newer coffee shop on East Wall Street, and its owner set out to build a place where people gather and stay a while. A library program suits that idea well. For teens who want something different from the usual outing, a book-and-drink afternoon in a neighborhood coffee shop is an easy pick.
