Support the Eagle River Veterans Memorial with Minocqua Popcorn & Puffs

The shop sells gourmet popcorn and puffs in more than 30 flavors, from Wisconsin cheese corn and caramel to kettle and whimsical flavors. Gift tins are available, and the shop also carries jerky and meat sticks. For this promotion, the 20 percent donation applies to purchases at the Eagle River store, so it is ordinary shopping with a share going to the memorial.

The Veterans Resource Center bought a 2.75-acre lot at 1100 N. Railroad Street, and plans call for a veterans memorial on the north end and a dog park on the south end. Center president Denny Geiseman puts the memorial's cost at about $350,000, and donations are also taken through Nicolet Bank. It is a local project that is already underway, and this promotion puts money toward it.
