Magic: The Gathering – Star Trek Two-Headed Giant Commander Night

Each player brings their own 100-card Commander deck, but the pair shares one 60-point life pool, so the team plays through each game together. The games follow the standard Two-Headed Giant rules at a casual level. Participants can also receive a Star Trek Commander promo card while supplies last. TalonSong is a downtown card shop, so the night has the feel of a working game store with tables set up for play.

Partnering up takes some of the pressure off a first trip into store play, since a teammate handles half the board. The event runs monthly through the Star Trek season, so it is a repeatable night out rather than a one-off. For a group that wants to play Commander together in Minocqua, this is an easy format to join.
