Courts and cages first come, first served 9-10 pm. Membership or guest pass required. Check schedule for exact open turf and track times. Make the most of your evening- get your workout in, walk or run safely at night, start a pick-up game, or try something new!
What to expect
The turf is open for playing catch, kicking balls and tossing a frisbee, but practices and team games are not allowed during open turf. The track is six lanes around a 100-meter straight, and the walking area suits a steady loop. Tennis courts are lined for pickleball, and the batting cages run on the same first-come basis as the courts.
Why go
The school district calls the Hodag Dome the largest air-supported high school dome in the nation, with more than 128,000 square feet under one roof. That leaves plenty of room to spread out, which matters on a crowded night. For anyone who wants to run laps, start a pickup game or try something new, it is a practical option close to Minocqua.
