Fiber Friends
Wednesday, November 4 at Minocqua Public Library, Minocqua
About this event
Do you knit, crochet, sew, embroidery, or enjoy some other fiber art? Please join the Fiber Friends! Fiber Friends meets weekly on Wednesdays from Noon – 3pm throughout the year in the library’s Program Room. This group is open to all to attend. Feel free to bring in a brown bag lunch if desired.
What to expect
Everyone works on their own project, so there is no set lesson or pattern to follow. Bring whatever you have on the needles, hook or machine and pick up where you left off. Lunch can come along in a bag if you like, which makes it easy to settle in for the whole session.
Why go
The group is open to anyone who knits, crochets, sews, embroiders or does another kind of fiber art. That suits a longtime maker as well as someone new to the craft. The Program Room is built for groups and holds up to 55 people, so the library is a comfortable place to spend a quiet, sociable afternoon with other makers.
