About this event
Join us for OCEDC's Coffee & Connections Women's Meet Up series, part 2! Amy Vanney, Nicolet Bank Branch Manager, will present a brief presentation on "Finance & Fraud" followed by networking with fellow women in business. Whether you are an entrepreneur, a woman in the business world, or anything in between; coming to ask questions or just connect, we are excited to meet you! This is a FREE event (1 coffee & 1 bakery item on us) thanks to our sponsor, Nicolet National Bank. Please pre-register at link above.
Who's playing
Amy Vanney, branch manager at Nicolet Bank, gives the presentation on finance and fraud. Her talk is brief and is followed by open networking with the other women in the room. Nicolet National Bank sponsors the session, and the Oneida County Economic Development Corporation runs the series.
What to expect
Expect a short talk, then time to mingle over coffee. The organizers suggest bringing questions about getting funded and about the scams that target small businesses. Fort Wilderness Cafe is the coffee shop at Fort Wilderness, a Northwoods camp, and it serves smoothies, tea and locally roasted Eagle River beans in a friendly setting.
Why go
The series is built for a wide range of women in business, from first-time entrepreneurs to those simply looking for connections. Financing and fraud are topics many small business owners want covered plainly. The talk leaves most of the time for conversation with others who are dealing with the same questions.
