Chat 'n Craft
Wednesday, November 4 at Boulder Junction Community Center, Minocqua
About this event
Chat 'n Craft is a social crafting group that meets twice a month at the Boulder Junction Community Center, a short drive from Minocqua. Knitters, colorists, beaders and other crafters of every skill level bring their own projects and work side by side. It suits anyone who wants company while they make something.
What to expect
Crafters work on their own projects and trade ideas with the people beside them. The group welcomes knitting, coloring, beading and other kinds of handwork, so no two tables look alike. Sessions run in the Nordlof Room, a private, carpeted meeting room with seating for 18, which keeps the feel quiet and close.
Why go
The group grew out of the library's knitting club and now opens its doors to any kind of crafter. Beginners sit alongside experienced hands, and nobody is expected to arrive with a finished piece. For someone who crafts alone at home, a regular morning with other people is the main draw.
