Boulder Junction Music Gathering

The session splits in two. The first hour sticks to easier songs that any ability level can play or sing along to, with chords and lyrics available to follow. The second hour turns to more advanced material, including tunes brought in by members of the group. When the weather is good, the gathering moves outside to the Lions Pavilion or the library's reading garden.

The group was formerly known as the Music Collective, and it still has the feel of a neighborhood jam. Newer players get songs they can actually join in on, and more experienced musicians get an hour of their own choices. Meeting in the library's garden on a mild day is a easy way to find people who play.
